Hiding your hard disks

You can disable the display of ur local hard drives or network drives when you open My Computer To Do this follow the steps given below :
Open Start Meny Then Run
Type Regedit.exe
Now Navigate 2


HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\
Now in the right pane create a new DWORD item and name it NoDrives (it is case sensitive).
Now modify its value and set it to 3FFFFFF (Hexadecimal).
Now restart your computer.
Now when you click on My Computer, no drives will be shown.To enable display of drives in My Computer, simply delete this DWORD item that you created.
Again restart your computer.
